    First, choose your player and opponents. You can play against the computer, challenge your friends and family, or even invite friends from around the world to play via Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection*. Next, choose your game board. Over 15 boards showcase famous locales from Super Mario™ games and Dragon Quest® games.
  • Roll the Die and Buy! Buy! Buy!

    Roll the Die & Buy! Buy! Buy!

    This little die can make or break you with a single roll. You can even add some spice to your roll with funny actions. The more shops you buy up, the more money you make. But watch out! You’ll have to shell out loot if you land on an opponent’s shop.
  • Collect Suits

    Collect Suits

    The four suits — hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds — are scattered across the board. Collect them all and bring them to the bank for a promotion and a big paycheck.
  • Collect Properties

    Collect Properties & Buy Stocks

    Collect as many properties as you can, and invest money into them to drive up value. Maintain ownership of all the shops in one area to shoot those property values through the roof, and nab a hefty paycheck anytime your opponent lands there. Use your money to snap up stocks. Buy low and sell high to watch your fortune really soar.

    (Easy Rules remove the Stocks feature from the game, making it more accessible to younger players.)

    Keep your fortune on the up and up, and aim for the target gold amount. Once you have it, take it to the bank and claim your victory. The key is a perfect blend of strategy, skill, and luck—so look sharp!

    Get to an Arcade square for a chance to get in on some serious action. You can try your hand at a variety of fun minigames that can earn you money, stocks, or wild cards.

    Here's a tip: play the stock market like a pro for some serious dough. Compare stock prices of the various districts and determine which are likely to go up in value. If you own stock in a district, you earn big when that stock rises, whether you own property or not. You can also affect the stock price by selling off your own shares!

    Keep a close eye on the max. capital for each shop. As these numbers rise, the more the owner can invest. The more gold invested, the higher the stock price!
  • Freeloading is Fun

    Freeloading is Fun

    Be sure to keep an eye on your opponents. If you see one making a move that is likely to push up stock prices, jump on the bandwagon and buy those stocks too. It's a little technique we like to call … freeloading!
